Northeast Shiba Rescue

NESRA is a small privately run, all-volunteer, non-profit organization.  Due to the changes brought about by the Massachusetts Department of Agriculture, we are unable to continue rescuing those Shibas that need us and will be retiring from rescue as of September 19, 2006.  It is our hope that this website will serve as an educational resource. If you are thinking of adopting a Shiba, please read everything you can find on the breed and talk with reputable Shiba breeders before making a final decision.

Please contact the following rescues to learn about Shibas available for adoption.

NYC Shiba Rescue

Wag On Inn Rescue (New Jersey)

Shiba Inu Rescue Mid Atlantic Region, Inc.

National Shiba Rescue

Northwest Shiba Inu Rescue

Shiba Inu Rescue of Texas
